    Was it a friend or 'non business' that you bought it from? You really do need to take it up with them.

    Through ebay, but a person local to me.

    Sony have flatly refused to do anything, and Game have told me to go to sony, LOL they are bouncing me off each other!

  • So you have no receipt etc

    You dont have a hope, first of all it could easily be stolen etc

    Unless you can prove were it was purchased your screwed

    Id maybe suggest if you do find proof not telling them unless necessary that its now 2nd hand as warranties etc may not transfer ownership
  • I've come up with a new plan, i have a friend who works for a certain DSG group company and he is going to get it sorted for me :)

    friends in high places always works well

    Thanks for the advice though guys! I've learnt my lesson here, don't buy without the receipt :)
