The vaccination given by your vet does not include Chlamydophila felis infection which is a form of conjunctivitis and upper respiratory infection.

    Sneezing
    Watery eyes
    Discharge from eyes
    Coughing
    Difficulty breathing
    Runny nose
    Lack of appetite (anorexia)
    Fever
    Pneumonia, if left untreated

Thank you very much for your help. Maybe they were the letters that he was spouting at me.

I think it was included in the initial injection given by the house as I "googled" Purevax RCPCh and it said that one of the things it is for is feline chlamydiosis (a flu-like illness caused by the bacterium C. felis).

Hmm. Not exactly the same now that i copied and pasted.

Chlamydiosis is the disease caused by Chlamydophilia felis, which can be shorted down to C. felis, so they are the same thing, just worded slightly differently.

(Because why not make life confusing... same as the "R" in "RCP" stands for feline Rhinotracheitis, which is the disease caused by herpesvirus in cats so "R" stands for "herpesvirus"... of course)

It looks like the second vet gave Purevax FeLV (Feline Leukaemia Virus) and the first didn't, so it might be that that the vet wanted to top up.
