I'm trying to buy some tudor planks from a company called decracell in telford. Does anyone know if they have gone bust? I'm trying to order some Mock Tudor Planks from them but they won't answer my emails and their website went down. I've asked on another DIY site but thought I'd ask on here in case anyone may know anything as I've had their sample through the post and It's lovely. I hope I've posted this in the right section.

Quite possible they have ceased trading. Accounts filed last year showed a £20K deficit. Accounts filed in April this year show a bigger deficit of £50K.
If they are not answering the phone (01952 929110), then you should start looking elsewhere. If they do answer and take an order, for heaven's sake, pay by credit card. Should they be close to going bust, you can still get your money back. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
Yes unfortunately they’ve gone. There are two other companies you can use for Mock Tudor planks.
Replica Wood
Www.replicawood.co.uk
who are now in Birmingham (used to be in Telford not far from Decracell)
or Tudor Boards Ltd in Cannock
https://www.tudorboard.com
Both look similar, replica Wood is lighter and cheaper though, depends what you want. Both companies send out free samples so might be worth ordering a sample from each.0 -
Thanks for the replies. I got a sample from Replica Wood and a sample from Tudor Boards Ltd and the Tudor Boards one was loads better. Just ordered some today. 7 week wait. Arrgghhhh.0
