eBay and Nectar

Good evening,

I'm not sure if this has comes to anyone's attention on here just yet but it's a "heads up" for anyone who collects Nectar points for purchases on eBay.

I've had an email today stating that from June 22, 2018 the most points you can earn on a qualifying transaction will be 300 (excluding any promotions)-so any purchases over £300 will only earn 300 points.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

Yeah I got that email, quite disappointed about it too. A while back we bought a big shed of eBay when they had a 20x points offer on household, it meant we got 32,000 points! New rules would mean that same offer would generate 6000 points, quite the difference. Just managed to nab a new mattress on a 8x points offer on eBay last week which nabbed 6400 points (new rules would mean 2400). Such a shame they are doing this as always keep an eye out for bonus points offers on eBay when we have big ticket things to buy, as you can really boost your nectar balance, not so much now though. Nectar/Sainsbury!!!8217;s keep reducing the points you can get, the MyCoupons thing was amazing, used to get 1000+ bonus points every week on normal food shopping. All the above meant I managed to save 100,000 points in just 1 year on normal shopping (and the shed!). I guess if loads more people were working the system like this then that!!!8217;s why they are reducing what you can get now.
