PCN from MET - complaint to McDonalds

  • Evening. I received an email to say MET have uploaded their evidence, and find this:

"In her appeal to POPLA [name] has not included any grounds for appeal. She alludes to attached file, but no file is attached to her appeal. Thus, our response to her appeal is based on the information currently held."

I'm certain that I attached it... what should I do now? Is there a way for me to respond and attach it again? Or do I just respond to their evidence?
  • Hiya, any thoughts on this would be much appreciated please? Not sure what to do as they say they've not seen my appeal...

You are going to have to phone or email POPLA.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thanks coupon-mad.

Is the accusatory approach okay, or would I be better off meekly requesting they take another look
Re: PCN ABXXXXXX, Appeal no. XXXXXXXXXX

    To whom it concerns,

I submitted my appeal on 29th August 2018, attaching a PDF file called "POPLA Appeal XXXXXXXXXX".

In the response I received on 19th September 2018, the operator has failed to respond to any of my grounds for appeal, stating "no file is attached to her appeal".

This seems like an embarrassing attempt by the operator to avoid addressing my valid arguments, and is extremely disappointing - though not surprising given the nature and reputation of the industry they operate in.

I reattach my appeal to this email, as a PDF file, in good faith that you will ensure the operator review my case as appropriate.

    Yours faithfully,
    XXX

Also assuming that sending this to info@popla.co.uk is okay? It's the only contact email I can find online.
  • Sorry to keep asking for help but... is the above an okay approach in this situation pls?
