Ipad/safari problems

Options
I have an old ipad with ios 9.3.5.
This last week i have been having problems with safari.
On monday i kept getting the Captcha pop up and i couldnt search for anything. I am still having problems logging into certain sites with passwords.

I have tried to google this but not sure where the problem lies.
The ipad is up to date. I have installed google as its driving me mad but would prefer to go back to using safari.

Thank you

    Good evening,

If you're running iOS 9.3.5 I'd imagine you must have an iPad 2?

Have you tried clearing your cookies, cache and browsing history as well as performing a soft reset (holding the power/home button down together until the Apple logo appears) as that might help.

Might also be worth trying the following:

It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

I tried the soft reset, and clearing cookies history.
I had a bit of trouble logging in on this website on safari, still cant log into ebay, letsride, sky, and some of my survey sites, yet get thro straight away in google.
Its strange as some sites work and not others

    Yes its an ipad 2

I come across all sorts of problems at work with customers using Safari/Mac/iPad combinations and the Captcha (usually NOT popping up :) ). This is over years of experience of it so it's not just a recent thing.

The solution is simply to use Chrome or Firefox.
