Hello guys,
i dont know what to do with my broker. She is from agency, as well as solicitor. My offer been accepted 3 weeks ago and almost 3 weeks ago I sent my ID, payslips, bank statements and address to my mortgage advisor, she promised me to email some mortgage offer that i can choose what I want and then silence. She suppose to sent me something in this monday but yesterday after silence I texted her and hour later she sent me key illustration with some ridiculous details( I wanted 5yrs fixed she sent me 2 yrs, home price is wrong) and nothing else, my solicitor whose cooperate with her asking me right now for 300f but I still dont know anything about my mortgage, and she wants 600f for her service... Im struggling in this situation because Im a first time buyer and I dont know how it suppose to look. Is she incompetent? Should I changed her or go to the bank?Im really worried because its 3 weeks time and I dont want to loose my opportunity for buy this house.
Sorry for my English, I hope you understad

Agents are the worst place to get mortgage advice. When people say see a broker, they dont mean using the estate agent. They mean a local independent firm.
What does she say to you when you raise your concerns with her?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
When we txted her after few days of silence she said she moving out already and everything is ok and she gonna send us documents in mon but yesterday after silence and no documents we sent txted her that our solicitor wants 330f already and we dont know anything about mortgage, and she sent me an email without any information, explanation just key illustration and "please dont hesitate to contact". Almost 2 weeks ago we sent her all documents needed for mortgage so why is she silent and then she sending us ridiculous draw, I thought If she got all our documents she will send us mortgage offers we will choose which one and then she make fast application. I didnt answer to her after she sent me that picture because Im confused and I thin this is joke but I writing here to make sure how it suppose to look.0

Hi Daria
You do not need to use the Broker who works with the Estate Agency.
You do not need to wait so long for some progress.
Find another Broker and ask them how to deal with getting rid of the current non performing Broker.
You can find recommendations for brokers on independent review websites like Trustpilot.I am a Mortgage Broker

Thank you for your answers guys, now I know that I dont need broker etc but could you just make me sure that her "process" is wrong? I dont know how it suppose to look so I dont want to be mean and look impatient. Month ago I spoke with other broker ( from different agency but he is independent as well) and he seems fine, should I back to him? How to get rid of old broker if we signed paperwork with her, and also I am bit concerned because she cooperating with my solicitor and agency which selling me house.0

Two weeks to get an indicative illustration is nto what you should expect. A week would be ridiculous, we would expect to provide you with that by the end of day two (most likely same day) once we have the background information.
You can stop using the current broker at any time.
If you have agreed to her terms there may of course be fees to pay regardless of whether you progress with her.I am a Mortgage Broker

So you got the hump waiting two weeks for a Broker and the solution is to wait two weeks to see a Lender?I am a Mortgage Broker

You need to be proactive. Find a broker and arrange to meet. Allow sufficient time to run through and discuss your various mortgage options. The vendor is going to start to be impatient if there's been zero progress.0
