Your daughter will know, because she should have received the documentation from the deposit holding agency soon after the tenancy commenced. If she didn't, then she can sue for 3x the deposit. There are only 3 providers, so just check with each.

Thank you, I'm pretty sure no documentation was received as she normally sends me copies of everything, I will google the 3 today and get her to find out
