Is changing a standard car horn to a air horn, classed as a modification.

Unless pre- 1973 is it even legal to fit one?
Or is that only a single tone is legal after 1973?

Sometimes what you may perceive as a minor modification can ring major alarm bells with Insurers.
Some Insurers (Not all) will take into account what they perceive is the added risk of someone who adds certain modifications to their car.
Adding an airhorn will alarm some Insurers, I would recommend you check before you make the modification0 -
