I’m after headphones for my iPhone 6s. I would like to stay with Apple to get maximum value from the phone/headset, but that’s not set in stone. I’m thinking in ears as I’ll be using them out and about
Anyway I’ve been doing the rounds of the net trying to find the best price and I’ve come across a lot of ‘genuine’ Apple earphones at unbelievable prices. I believe the old saying ‘if it looks to good to be true, then it is to good to be true!’
I’m really asking two questions here. Is there anyway of recognising an iPhone earphones rip off , with the exception of prices?
The second part of the question is, can you recommend an online facility that sell Apple earphones a a reasonable value
As always many thanks
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
What's your budget?
I'm keen to point out prices aren't always a great indication of 'knock-off' equipment; last year I lost my Powerbeats 3 headphones at work (think they ended up in the cleaner's bin!) so went onto eBay and found some for about £20 cheaper than the RRP.
No indication to suggest the seller was dodgy but once I'd received the goods it was obvious they were less than kosher!
I've found the following website (KRCS) and they offer Apple earphones with one such example being this:

They are £24.50 at 7dayshop here:-

Are they genuine apple resellers though? If not where do they source the "genuine" items?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

It seems to be a major issue for you about them being genuine, more so than the price, so I suggest only buying from Apple.
Its not like it used to be in days of yore where a fake would stick out like a sore thumb, today sometimes even those working for the genuine manufacturers can only tell once they've taken them apart. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
