Tax Free Child Care and Changing Jobs

What if you resign and dont find a new job by the time youve worked your notice? Is there any grace period as there is with the 30 hours? Do you have to tell HMRC immediately or only at the time of your reconfirmation?

    If you!!!8217;re not currently working

You can apply if you!!!8217;re starting or re-starting work within the next 31 days.

If you!!!8217;re on parental leave, you cannot apply for the child you!!!8217;re on leave for.

You may still be eligible if your partner is working, and you get Incapacity Benefit, Severe Disablement Allowance, Carer!!!8217;s Allowance or Employment and Support Allowance.
