We are buying a new build and under pressure to complete by the end of the month. According to our mortgage offer Barclays require 10 days notice for re-inspection of the property. The offer states they won't release the funds until this is done.
Will Barclays definitely require re-inspection? They had the valuation done at a fairly advanced stage of the build - bathrooms in, roof on, plastering done - we're thinking they might turn around and say they don't need to. Also are we talking 10 days notice for the re-inspection PLUS the 3 to 5 days to release funds?
Thanks
