And when you asked Halifax what did they say? Why would you not be on the roll, please?

Were you on when you applied?

Yes I was. But that was on my previous address.

Worth noting, I applied for mortgage with current address as at that time I had already moved to my parents, in April. I didn’t think I’d need to register on ER because I figured I’m only here for a short bit.

I’m in a temporary address which I moved into in April.

It won't matter as long as they can verify you via other means.

I have nothing useful to add to this post other than to thank you for not spelling it "role".

We have just applied to halifax after out broker tried and said our LTV went down as not on the electoral at our familys address.

We then went direct and passed on an application as they said it is not a problem. Not sure if linked but we have to go to a branch to hand over passport id but does not affect the application.

So pretty sure it will be fine come final checks. If in doubt can you not register on the elctoral before competion?

    Many thanks for this.

I submitted an electoral roll registration last week, but it will. It’s likely be a while before Experian gets updated.
