Fingers crossed CW. Looks like I'm joining the decorating brigade as we should be having our lounge / stairs / landing painted at the end of next week. Weekend looks fair and sunny which also means we should get out and paint the fence - although I think I am going to get a fence sprayer to do it, sounds much quicker than the brush.

Now painting the fence that is a job DH needs to do, he not so keen :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: he got the materials but not the motivation lol

We have a fence sprayer and its great, the sprayer is so quick and easy to use. We have a Cuprinol one and we got some cheap Cuprinol sprayable fence stuff from tesco a while ago for £3.50 each so we will have to do ours soon.

Good luck with the painting next week.

Was looking at the Cuprinol one - we have Cuprinol rence colour, it's not a specific spray one it does say paint or spray so i'm assuming it will be fine. Only worry is that next door currently has some white t-shirts on the line

Yes, same here, but i think it will be a 2 person effort. Only thing is that the wisteria is now all bushy which means come the autumn we'll have to do behind that when it's died back.

We have so many tins of paint atm for jobs to do it's like a branch of BnQ :rotfl:

When we do the fences we take them all out of the concrete posts and lay them on the grass to do. That we we don't miss any end pieces etc.

Looks quite funny I suppose a row of fence panels on the grass all being sprayed, by the time he has done half a dozen the first ones are dry enough to put back in. Its not too bad for us as our side panels are only 4 foot high ones apart from one that is 6 foot which is next door to the neighbours extension.

I am a bit fed up as the builder didn;t turn up. He sent a text to say his van had broken down and he would let us know when he could come. Really wanted it doing as well.

The work can only be done in the dry weather and who knows what next weekend will be like. Today was perfect to do the job as well.:(

Unless we want to move the shed and dig up a number of plants that's deff not an option for us - plus there's not really much room in the garden to lay them out. However I am the proud new owner of a fence sprayer - will finish prep tonight and get them done tomorrow.

Sorry to hear the wall couldn't be done as planned - these things are sent to try us x

Hope the weather is ok tomorrow as well so you can get the fence done. They do look nice when they have just been painted don't they, makes the garden look nicer too.
