CM - absolutely fantastic. Bet the children are delighted.

Managed to buy some plants for the veg patch today in the market. Got a tray of 20 lettuce plants and 20 leeks for £2 each. Just so far behind with the planting this year, so these will get me started. Also bought a couple of pepper, courgette and tomato plants. Now need to get my seeds sorted.

What a gorgeous day we have had and the sun is still shining. :j:j

Looks like summer is with us (at least for a few days) been lovely and sunny and warm today and my ds managed to do the lawn for the first time this year. Got to go out with the weedkiller tomorrow as quite a few dandelions were in the lawn.

DH was out with the weedkiller at mum's today, she had loads of dandelions. He treated a load last week when we were over doing her garden. She always gets them and we hardly ever do, although we do get a horrible weed with a yellow flower that seems to wrap itself around the blades of grass, almost like ivy. It is dreadful to get rid of. Only one weedkiller will work and it is really expensive so we treat the lawn once a year! Only problem is when the weedkiller has worked, we then need to re-seed lots of the lawn!
Hey ho, the fun of gardening.

Thanks for asking TS. Think we are nearly there. Couldn't decide between cream or white for cupboards, but have chosen worktop to go with either. Spent most of yesterday looking at tiles in the hope that it would sway me towards one colour or the other. Couldn't really find anything that I liked enough. Everything was just ok, but not wow. Last night decided I was fed up looking and said to DH, let's forget the kitchen! However, after sleeping on it, this morning I was ready to look at tiles again. :)
Went into a showroom today that I pass on the way to work. Thought they would be horrendous prices, but they weren't and they had loads that we both liked, so finally chosen tiles, so the kitchen will be cream gloss.
Now just need to finalise the layout. Hoping to do that by the end of next week as we are hoping to get away for a few days the week after and would like everything ordered before we go away.
Can't believe how much time it is taking up just looking and getting ideas.

Just catching up after returning from holiday SnD - kitchen shopping is very time consuming but very satisfying when plans come together. I too chose a neutral colour - ivory/cream - as you can change accessories to give a new look very easily and it won't break the bank :)
