SnD if you find yourself with any left over white wine I will happily recycle it for you:rotfl:
OH drinks red and I will have some now and again but prefer white so with todays meal deal shops OH got red:( cos I left him to sort the wine out:rotfl:0 -
Blue - stop looking - party was for hubby's ex colleagues who couldn't come to his "official" retirement do last October, so they all came to us yesterday. Leftovers for tea tonight and probably tomorrow, but hey ho, I am not complaining. Just eaten a slice of meringue roulade, told hubby it might go soggy if I don't use it up quickly.
Leftover pudding for after our meal tonight will be chocolate bread and butter pudding - real comfort food now that it is wet and windy here.
Will invite you to the next party we have;)
That's ok then, would hate to miss out on free food and drink:D:DThrifty_Sister wrote: »I've also been shopping with OH today and taken advantage of M & S generosity:cool: a few times. 4 meal deals and some whoopsied chicken, sausages, fish & cheese. Total spend £80 + - actual paid £33:T:T:T
What mains did you get SnD - I got steak, cod bake, gammon & chicken with mozarella & tomatoes. They had a lot of choice unlike last week with the £5 deal - I was spoilt for choice:)Thrifty_Sister wrote: »SnD if you find yourself with any left over white wine I will happily recycle it for you:rotfl:

I got a couple of steaks and a couple of chickens. All in the freezer at the moment as we had already bought lots of stuff for the party last night. I do love M&S food, especially when on offer;)

[QUOTE=Dr.Who-Who;
@ Gemmod, I am going to get 2nd opinion from spec savers, maybe they have alternative lenses for me to try. I have used lenses on & off before so there is no problem me wearing them. Just need to find the right ones. If not I will need to look for new glasses. Originally, i was going to do lasik this year but my brother & SIL said don't as both of them are suffering, one still need reading glasses, & one has night vision when driving.
My brother said if you don't believe me, make an appointment to see the lasik consultant then come back & tell me whether or not the consultant is wearing glasses & why are they treating other with lasik '& they themselves are wearing glasses?[/QUOTE]
Good luck with your second opinion, hopefully you can find some contacts to suit you.
I would certainly look into laser treatment but have been told that they can't treat you if you only wear glasses for reading. I must admit I do know quite a few people now who have had laser and they have all been very pleased. Having said that I suppose it does sometimes go wrong.0
