Iv'e got some tea tree oil already, wonder if it will be handy to use in some way before hosp?
Dr W I had forgotten about bio oil. No home bargains near me. Will keep my eye out for some bragains.
xx
PM - every time you shower I would use some of the oil esp your pre op shower. Its proven as killing off the nasty little bugs that lurk in hospitals.
If you cannot get hold of Bio oil pm me and I will pick some up for you. Doc is right about it but only after the scar has healed enough.0 -

If its the concentrated oil you have put some on a face cloth and rub all over your skin. If you have a washing liquid I would use your usual wash first finishing off with the tea tree.0 -
PM - I may be going to a Home Bargains tomorrow. If I do I will see if they have the Bio and let you know.:)0

Didn't even go till 10.30 and it was so crowded and everyone grabbing. Some people just took huge piles of things. There was one family who had a shopping trolley piled up sky high and they were all carrying things. Not sure what they were but they must have had at least 30 of what looked like black shiny bags, around 12 inches wide with carrying handles, but don't know what they were.
Hope everyone else got what they wanted

Popped into mine just before 9am - lots of people with multiple big baskets stashing and guarding stuff at the end of aisles, then some of them just dumping stuff they didn't want. Plus a number of people who had a suspicious amount of items all the same - bets on some of those appearing at the car boots this summer?
Managed to get some sets of stuff for my DM to use as Xmas presents - not sure if she'll want everything so couple of bits might be returned but I didn't go OTT. Also got a S&G set for myself (lots left at 9am...zero by 12.30pm ) bit of an extravagance but I love their stuff. Might end uo on-gifting any of the products inside I'm not going to use.
Oh, and got two lovely penguin hot water bottle / pj covers down from £16 to £4 for my friends girls this xmas.
Just think it's a shame it's become like the Next sales with people taking stuff out of pure greed. I could have bought half a dozen S&G and whatever those sets were in the big patent quilted bags and made a profit on fleabay, but I'd rather leave them for people who really want them for themselves / gifts (I be in actual fact half of them were swiped by greedy so-and-so's to sell on - makes me )Part_Mouse wrote: »TS

Wilkinsons do their own version of Bio Oil but it's called Rescue Oil - I believe it's the same ingredients (text has come off my label now) - I use it for relatively minor scars / marks and works well.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Evening all...:)
Well done AH, CW, TS, MT and others who managed to grab Boots bargains....:T:T:T:T:T:T
I went in the afternoon and all the shelves were empty. Anyway I was not intending to buy anything lol...:p:o
But got Loreal shampoo and radox shower gel for 26p by combining AC machine and loreal coupons.
CM good to know your little one is on the mend.:)0 -
Thanks ts it's the essential oil. I have used it for spots before, do you think I should just use it on a flannel after my shower?
I'm hoping the surgeon will go over the previous scars as much as poss but i do have a lot of scaring from previously surgeries.maybe some bio oil will help.
Thanks for the heads up Kerri

PM - definitely recommend the Bio Oil. I had a really bad scar from scalding my arm last year and was advised to use it by the hospital once the skin had started to heal. Had to use it for quite a while, but, now have no scarring on my arm. Well worth the money.0

CM if I don't have the op now then things are very bleak.

PM I don't know why you having op or what it entails but usually an op means a new beginning (pain free or less pain). So, hopefully you will have the op and look to a brighter future.
Don't look back with regret.
