Beneficiary of will has changed address

I have a will leaving everything to be divided equally among my 4 children. I name them individually and also give their addresses. One of them has recently changed address. Do I need a new will giving the new address? Scottish law applies

No. The crcial thing is that the will clearly identfies the peson. It is a good idea to leave a not for your executor of anything like this,

For the benefit of your executor(s) as YM says leave a note with this information along with details of bank accounts, insurance policies and any gifts you have made in the last 7 years that may effect IHT.

Preferably keep this with a copy of your will.

If you have a LPA in place then you do have to notify the office of the public guardian of any changes in addresses of any attorneys you have appointed. If you do not have LPAs in place then you should seriously consider doing so.
