If the jeans, t shirt and underwear is all dark and cotton, i cant see a problem with washing them altogether.

I wouldnt handwash pants. Id prefer to give them a hotter wash than my hands could bear.

Thats why I chuck them in sink with boiling hot kettle water and swirl them with a tool (as its burning hot to touch) for a minute or to then let soak for a while then drain and add new water.

Even if it doesn't clean them it would help, I don't normally put them back on after they have dried t unless I have an emergency its just as I don't want used underwear lying around, only time I do wear them is say to bed if I haven't found any clean ones and I am doing a wash the next day.

Thats why as well, if I boiled them in such a way as stated im not sure if a normal quick wash would be acceptable.

I tend to soak whites, undies and tea towels in soda crystals and hot water before I wash them. Not together, I may add. I feel the quick wash is fine then, as some of the dirt/sweat etc is already loosened by the soda crystals.

Deka, if you have problems with dye transferring, try using some colour catcher sheets. Wilki*nson's own brand is £1 a box. You just put 1 or 2 at the back of the drum, and they're good.
