PIP assessment

Yes...another PIP assessment thread.
I apologise in advance as have made no effort to find out any information or answers elsewhere yet!
My brother got a letter saying his PIP is being reassessed. He has paranoid schizophrenia. He's got until 26 June to complete it and submit any documentation.
Initially he suggested he'd get in touch with the Recovery service who do emergency support sessions. I said he should also make docs apt to get a letter. We discussed that his situation has actually got worse in terms of independence, ability to manage finances (I manage all his finances now) and agreed that I might write a letter of the support I am giving him too. He's coming round on Sunday with the form. It can be like pulling teeth to get him to follow up things so it's going to be a fun couple of weeks : )
Is there any good websites with advice on doing the form, what to include etc.?
Is it overkill to have letter from doc, letter from sis, possibly a letter from Recovery service too?
I really hope it's nothing to worry about, I am probably more anxious about getting it right than he is, mainly as I know it would derail him if it was cut. I feel for everyone who has to go through the assessment and uncertainty!
Best to manage hopes, getting an increase would be welcome, but as long as he doesn't lose any that's still okay.
xx

Do you mean a PIP review form
They usually come out about a year before the end date of his award and are about 12 pages long
If so, this may help

If his award is coming to an end

If it's a review form he's received, don't be fooled by those multiple choice questions of easier, harder, stayed the same. I'd advise you to write as much info as possible on those forms and use extra paper if needed.
Relevant evidence to support the claim should be sent with the forms. Please allow time for the forms to arrive with DWP and you can ring for an extra 14 days extension to return the forms.0 -
