Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
White load in the washer, hope to get it out before we go round for the coffee morning, I need to go out and pull some rhubarb. The sun is just coming through and there is a reasonable breeze. It was cold again last night, put my blanket on when I went to bed. Its a bit brrrr just now.
OH found enough strawberries yesterday to have for dessert last night, they are so different from the strawberries you get in the shops, even the ones that are grown in England.
Cleaner here yesterday so nice sparkling house, well worth the money.
No plans for the day apart from doing my shopping list for tomorrow morning. I have to be up and at 'em early, have booked the car in for new tyres at 8.30am will then go to Aldi and do the shopping.0 -
Morning everyone,
Bit later today as have woken up with a headache and am finding it hard to get going.
The farrier is coming to do Lu’s feet this afternoon and then I am out for a meal with my DB tonight, been ages since just the two of us got together so looking forward to catching up, he’s the only one who really understands how much I miss DM.
Have a good day folks x0 -
Morning
Beautiful blue sky and sunny again this morning ..not sure whats happening up in north west at the moment but the weather has certainly taken a turn for the better this year.
Mahoosive to do list to crack through today and tomorrow think i need a good few extra hours in both to this lot done!
Loved the Book Club film last night such a laugh with all the girls from our book club. Seems we are not the only ones who think its not all about the book :rotfl:
Still off my food atm which is a bit worrying as I need my bloods to be ok on friday morning. Will force something down today possibly a caesar salad or a tuna salad maybe.
Best crack on this list is getting longer by the minute.Have a great day all0 -
Good morning from a sunny Wales :j
I will be pottering around today, a bit of dusting, tidying and sorting is in order. My house was tidyish over the weekend but now it looks as if a tornado has hit it :rotfl:.
We have to go out this afternoon for Mr Fix It's oncology injection, so I hope it's ready and waiting.
I have no washing to do but there is a pile of ironing. I am going to work my way through it, bit by bit, because my wrist is still painful. It is better than it was though.
Have a good Wednesday whatever your plans.
Take care and hugs to all.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -

I forgot to wish Speky a happy time away and you too Scarlet Ribbons.
It is sunny now, and my washing is out but I'm indoors, just having a little break and then back to the computer. I'm on my last jobs today and tomorrow.
I might have my hair cut, I do every few years but it grows like fury and now is down to my waist and not tidy at all. I hate having it cut but after Thursday I will have more time and might not resent the time spent doing that.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
Had an early breakfast of tea and toast and just had a sausage sandwich with a cuppa before going to volunteer at the library this afternoon. I finally got round to changing the battery in the kitchen clock and put bleach down the kitchen sink, bathroom basin and shower drain as well as doing a bit more tidying in my bedroom. Dishwasher has been on and more clean laundry put away. I am determined to stop my big bedroom being a dumping ground and turn it into a tidy, relaxing space.
The cleaner is due tomorrow and so the house should be looking good for the weekend if any family drop by. I still want to do a bit more tidying of the internal garage and move a few things into the outside garage or recycle some of them.
Hugs to all.0 -
Afternoon all - another late one from me.
These end of semester days are filled with marking, verifing or attending meetings! And I'm trying to pull together all the necessary stuff for the EV visit. That's the scary bit.
I went out early this morning to buy some black insulating tape (to cover the little lights shining all night in my bedroom) and a spanner. The new blade for my not-broken lawnmower is waiting to be put on but it'll take brute force to get the old one off!
The gardener has brought his partner to help him in the front 'garden' - they're tidying up the edges now and pruning back some overgrown hedge-like plants. Told them I hope I wasn't being charged double.
Now I am going to do a little relaxing whilst they are busy outside. Had enough 'focussing' today.
I hope everyone is doing well or getting better.
Happy rest of Wednesday folks.
EDIT - I couldn't move the bolt in the mower blade but the next door farmer kindly brought his selection of spanners and his 'guns' and got it off. New one on, half the lawn cut. Saving the other half for when I'm less cream-crackered.0 -
Good afternoon everybody.
Hugs and good wishes to all in need of some .
Happy birthday to all celebrating.
Knitting this morning with the usual gossip and cuppa.
There hasn't been a cloud in the sky all day.......went out and read the paper in the shade when I came back from knitting.......love the heat but hot sun is not my thing, did some flower/veg watering and am now watching Roland Garros with OH in the cool living room.
DSIL is chef this evening, we are having chicken curry I think. We may eat outside as our back garden is a suntrap in the evening so dinner can be very pleasant out there.
I am forcing myself to do at least an hour on DS3's Aran sweater, warm weather puts me off knitting for some reason, and Aran wool doesn't help......still I will get there if not catching up on the speed of yesteryear.
Thought that I had lost all of the above....enjoy your evening.
