Switching to Octopus Energy
I am considering switching to Octopus Energy as SSE have put their prices up. I am on a fixed rate until early November. I like the look of the 12 month or the 24 month fixed rate Octopus have (Octopus 12M Fixed May 2018 v1 or the Helpful Octopus 24M Fixed May 2018 v1). If I switch now, I will incur a penalty of £50 from SSE. But if I wait, the electricity prices will go up and I will have missed out. Can anyone advise? How likely are Octopus to put their prices up each month? Thanks
