Saving money on car insurance with a sp30 conviction

Hello,
are there insurance providers out there that will offer discounted car insurance premiums for drivers with a SP30 conviction ? I committed the offence in april 2017 last year and have since paid off the fine. I have held a full driving licence since July 2005 and have an otherwise clean record. I'm on the lookout for a new motor but all the insurance quotes I've got are between £250-£300 more than what I normally pay. In addition to this I have 5 years no claims insurance from my previous insurer- will this also help me in my quest to obtain a lower insurance premium ?
I had a look on google and came across a company called one answer who state they provide insurance quotes for SP30 offenders. will hopefully find out more tomorrow morning as they're closed now.....

Im sure they all queueing up to reward drivers with points on their licence.
More points = cheaper insurance?
Will 5 years no claims help, yes your £250 - £300 increase could have been over £1000 increase.
With insurance nobody knows. Get quotes from everywhere and see.

try direct line, they tend to load the excess rather than the premium for speeding offences.0
