Countersigning D/Licence Photo ID ...
Hi all, my husband is re-applying for his driving licence after having to surrender it a while ago.
Having looked at the DVLA's list of who can countersign his ID photo, we're struggling a little. As "teachers" are on the list, do you think his Tai Chi tutor would be able to sign? (They've known each other for many years). We want, if possible, to avoid paying his doctor to sign.
Thanks for any help ...

If he is a person employed in a position of responsibility then yes - seems a very grey area and very much doubt the DVLA will check.
Countersigning for passport photos is a little more stricter.0 -
Umm, Foxy... That's Nor'n Iron. GB is different.
GB rules - https://www.gov.uk/id-for-driving-licence
The relevant one here is...professionally qualified person, for example a lawyer, teacher or engineer
Easiest is to use his passport, if he has one.0 -
