    Have you considered selling it and getting something cheaper? The difference can go towards the debt.

    Thanks for the replies - think I have sorted it through a short-term loan then paying the monthly payments as normal thereafter. Much appreciated.

    If you have sold the car they can still repossess it from whoever now has the car.
