Lintel moving

Hi all I have taken a window out and the lower wall to install bifold doors, after finding I would have to move the opening further over due to pipes in the way. I have bricked up one side to support the lintel when moved, it's a single course concrete one and I need to move it about 8 inches along.
I have acrow props and knowledge to instal one, but my dilemma is.
Will it be easier to take it out, there's no wall above it only roof spars as its a bungalow and put a new lighter one in
Or try to move it along which will be less plastering to do but how easy or hard that will be is an unknown.
I will video what's at either end and I have access to the roof space above.
