Umbrella repair

Are there any umbrella repair services left? My daughter bought a folding umbrella abroad with very nice canopy. Unfortunately the telescopic handle broke down, so I wonder if it is possible to fix it anywhere. I know that umbrellas are so cheap now that no one bothers to fix them but this one is quite unique.

The only umbrella repairers I can think of are James Smith in Bloomsbury, but I think they only repair their own.
Could you not buy an umbrella of the same size and transfer the canopy on to it? They tend to only be tacked onto the spindles and secured with a screw fitting at the top.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
