Can this only be opened in a branch? Nothing on website to suggest you can open by post unfortunately, even if you are an existing investor, but I'd be happy to find out otherwise!0

it is intended to be a branch account, if anyone has one of the poorer paying branch accounts and has no branch or agency nearby if i was them i would put it to S+S that wouldnt be fair to deny existing branch account members a better paying account, and start the sentence " i will be looking for a morgage shortly but......"0 -

Rang the branch where my bond maturity a/c is based, and sure enough he is sending out 2 app forms (my bond maturity is in fact joint with my wife). Didn't even need to use the mortgage story! Cheers0
