Afternoon,

Just querying here something I have just seen on my license (I passed my car test in 1990).

On the back of the pink plastic it states I have category A Valid from 19/01/2013 - 26/01/2038.

Looking online at the .Gov website it states that:

Category A large motorbikes
These are bikes unlimited in size and power, with or without a sidecar. You can ride the category of motorbike you took your test on.

I suppose my issue is that I only ever rode a moped when I was 16 (all those years ago in 1984! and did a 1 day course) But this is stating I can ride any bike?

TIA

As a provisional licence holder probably?

You can ride a larger bike as a learner with the associated restrictions that apply.

Sure, until you are 70 on 27/1/38, you 50 year old!

It probably has a code in column 12 giving some restrictions. https://www.gov.uk/driving-licence-codes
