Ppi help!

I received a letter from a claim company saying they had received my claim pack and going ahead with a ppi claim. Then received a letter from my bank saying I was owed money and have received money into my bank account. The problem is I never asked for it!
I contacted the claim company who sent my contract and it had the letter "BJE" as a signature which isn't even my initials let alone close to my signature I told them this and they said they will look into it.
The claim company say they sent the form to the bank who would have looked at my signature on their system to match against the one on the form then if the signature match authorise for the claim company to go ahead.
I contacted the bank who said I had to contact financial ombudsman which is fine but now I'm worried I have to pay the claim company 33% interest even though I didn't authorise the claim.
Anyone have any other advice? I am very upset and anxious about this as somebody has fauged my signature and someone also authorised the signature when it was clearly fake.

If you didn't sign a contract then you won't need to pay.

CMCs need a proper "wet" signature to represent you, if you have anything like a driving license or passport with a signature that is your proof it's your signature not this one they have - it should match the one the banks have on record. You can thus show the CMC that you did not sign a contract with them and they are not acting for you and keep any refund. Even saved yourself the price of a stamp which is even better

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
