Sofology Sofashield

Whenever I'm buying something nowadays there is a add on something at the checkout - be it, Argos, Currys extended warranty! I just don't know if they are worth it!

This particular post is about Sofashield. Anyone got this? Anyone needed to get sofology out to clean accidental spills and what was the service like?

To be honest, the deals seam to good to be true! This deal say they will repair the sofa up to the value of the Sofa! Which makes me question how they would make any money!

I had a similar thing with my sofa from multiyork. The insurance policy was with another company. It limited my callouts to something like 5/yr and you needed a new call out for each stain (so if you managed to stain it twice in a week, that's two calls/claims).



If you look at the T&Cs, it's not sofology but Castelan. Might be worth googling for this company - even on this forum there have been complaints. Moreover, the moment you make a stain, you have to call them before you attempt to clean. They may offer advice instead of coming to clean.

Had Harveys protection was a dining table high gloss which got a scratch on they took ages in responding (the claim firm)
I had to send pics and how was it done etc ? Anyway they didnt come out but offered £100 or a new table so was happy took the £100
