Hi
Having big problems with my wife's Lenovo Laptop after the latest update just getting a blue screen asking which keypad layout you require.
Have done the forced shutdown to get the recovery screen which loads OK and gives the error code 0xc0000001, but none of the options work, to get to recovery you have to press F1 but nothing happens it's the same with the other options and after about 1 minute it shuts down.
What I would like is to reinstall win 10 saving files and documents.

I have a Lenovo Yoga Plus and the new Microsoft update caused a severe crash.
There are several posts on this forum and also Lenovo. It hit a lot of Lenovo PCs!
I ended up doing a complete recovery, going back to factory condition. It made it more time-consuming as my ultrabook was initially installed with Windows 8.1, along with a free Windows 10 upgrade. This all had to be re-installed.
Not sure how you can keep your files, unless you back up first.
My PC is now whizzing along again, as it was before Microsoft's update.
Possibly others will come along and have the technical knowledge to help.
Good luck!0 -
Hi
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the laptop is stuck on the recovery screen and none of the options i.e. press F1, press return, work.

It might be worth asking at Lenovo support forum, they're usually very helpful.
