Don't try to buy screws from Screwfix

Went to Screwfix on Friday to buy a box of 200 screws and was told they would have to be ordered in and I could collect them the next day.
Went back the next day and was told the order had not been delivered yet and could I come back 'tomorrow'.

Back there this morning to be told again the order had not been delivered and when I pointed out that Screwfix promises "Next day delivery" the person in charge put the blame squarely on the shoulders of Parcelforce.
I had to point out to her that it is not Parcelforce that make the promise but Screwfix.

Moral of the story is

NEVER try to buy screws from Screwfix :mad:

If you say so. I've never had any problems picking up stuff (including screws) from Screwfix. One issue and you're storming off in a over dramatic huff, what's the betting you will shop there again

This is the VENT board is it not?

I have shopped there before and I will probably shop there again, I am just VENTING that Screwfix don't have any screws even after 48 hours :mad:

I buy loads of screws I use toolstation as its close to me order online to pick up @ store within 10 minutes or so. Only time had to order and delivery to store was some specialist screws that our branch dont stock came next day

I use screwfix and toolstation a lot, you can check stock online and they usually have an alternative if out of stock of one item.

Not tried the screwfix app lately, when it was first released it was just a massive download of their catalogue. The toolstation app was far superior.

Near me they are a stones throw from each other so handy.
