    It isn't possible to create something with price stability out of thin air.
    That will be the hard bit. Pegging in some form and I assume a formula to automatically issue new/cancel existing coins. I'll leave it for cleverer people than me to work out how to do it.
    The problem is that there is no rational reason why anyone would hold such a cryptocurrency. The crypto-dollar and the dollar should have exactly the same price, but the dollar can be used to pay your tax bill while the crypto-dollar can't.
    It wouldn't appeal to speculators, but it would appeal to those who want to use it as a currency - which supposedly is what the whole idea is.
