Whenever buying purchases be it washing machines, dishwashers, or sofa's come with additonal bolt on costs for accidental damage etc
The sofology plan say they will repair 1 instance of damage by a pet.
Just wondered paying £240 is worthwhile?

Have you got a pet and what are the chance of it doing damage and once only? My daughter has a new sofa and her cats scratch it but there is no way she can claim on her DFS cover for this as its not just one pull. At least its not as bad as the damage they did to her leather one!
But the policies normally also cover other incidents such as spillages but you need to carefully check the small print on your liability to limit the stains.
So read the small print and way up the chances of accidents occurring and the grey areas where the insurer will not fix it.
Having no pets, not being red wine drinkers and having no children at home I recently treated my new 3 piece with scotch guard spray for about £35, you just have to do it in a well ventilated room.0
