Amazon prime Hisense n6800 tv?

Does anyone have this tv? I've gone into amazon to play a few 4k films/tv shows and amazon is saying they are showing in 1080p despite advertising 4k


I've looked on the net and enabled the 2.0 HDMI function for HDR but I don't have a 4K dvd player to try that yet so was hoping amazon would do so not sure if there is something I have missed that I need to enable?


I'm on VM 200mb Broadband connected via Wifi for the tv

How are you viewing Amazon, via the TV's app or an Amazon Fire TV device?

What are you trying to watch in 4K, is it indeed a 4K source?

There is an app on the tv remote or accessed of I go into apps on the tv.


I typed in search 4k and selected a few things that came up as 4k HDR etc like grandtour, interstellar and some wildlife program.


But as a said I typed in search on amazon 4k so assuming it was 4k content that showed up

Don't know if you have a VM V6 box but on 521 Eurosport have been showing the tennis in 4K on the red button. Also the BBC are planning to show their world cup matches on the Iplayer in 4K for the first so many thousand viewers.

Anyone in the family who has a 4k device eg an Xbox One X or a Fire 4K Stick to test it ?

I've just noticed if I scroll down to tv shows in Amazon and further down it says UHD shows. there is about 10 or so shows in 4K


other than that I've not seen any other 4K content on Amazon does that look about right?

I'd imagine all you're seeing is the TV shows available, under Movies there should also be UHD movie content.
