Selling: Velux but no FENSA

Fantastic. Just checked and we're on the FENSA list.0

When we sold our house, we had a copy of the FENSA from the previous owners, it was about 6 months shy of ten years since they'd been fitted.
The buyer's solicitor was really fussy and didn't like that it was a copy so had to get another one from the FENSA website. We also had a photocopy of the 10 year guarantee, stamped by previous solicitors, which wasn't good enough either! They wanted the original, for a guarantee that had a few months left! The company that fitted the windows (for the previous owner) didn't have records that far back, we then ended up in dialogue about indemnity which I had to point out would only be for a lack of FENSA, which we had got for them! Felt like they wanted to make things difficult.0 -

Are you using this Search page:

I just entered a house I know recently had windows installed (last year and 3 years ago) and they are not in there ... will ask owners if they were FENSA registered, but thought I'd check first if I am using the right Search page.(Nearly) dunroving0 -
I entered the Fensa website page and followed the instruction from there.0
