Increase in NPBs

in Ebay, auctions, car boot sales, post & parcels
I have had a few similar recently, but the most recent is someone with over 700 feedbacks who bid on an item DAYS before it ended. They ignored the invoice, and the payment reminder and ONLY when I opened a NPB case, did they message me with simply "bought somewhere else" - why do people think this is how eBay works? I chose not to reply and will simply wait til I can close the case and teach them a lesson with a strike!

    Very annoying when buyers (or sellers!) are rude and inconsiderate. You did the right thing in opening a NPB case.

    I've had a few similar ones who have not let it get as far as NPB by asking for a cancellation and whilst they should learn how to use eBay I CBA with the hassle so I have done a few cancellations but I am hesitant to do too many in case it reflects badly on my account.
