Hi all
I'm thinking about using the online/ phone-based concierge service, Just Move In. Has anyone else used them to take of things like informing the council of your change of address, etc.
Thanks

Not worth £290 IMO. It's not that hard, plus you can get loads of cashback if you sign up for your utilities using Quidco."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0

Iammoving does the update job for free. It's not infallible and when we used it it was a bit pedestrian on their website and required a fair amount of input from me, but as it's free it's probably worth you looking at that and seeing if it will meet your needs.0

It's worth bearing in mind that it looks like they earn commission from signing you up for utilities, broadband etc
So they might be tempted to sign you up for the services that pay them most commission, rather than the ones that suit you best (or are cheapest)...9. Commission
As per the industry norm, in some cases we may receive a commission from introducing you or registering you with a service provider. The commission goes to pay for our time and enables us to diligently manage a lot of the administration involved. The commission amount will vary depending on the supplier, the product or service you sign up to. By using our service, you consent to us receiving commission payments.

It also looks like they represent just one insurance broker - so I guess they will refer all your insurance requirements to that broker, rather than 'shopping around' for the best broker / best deal...10. Financial Conduct Authority
Company is appointed representative of Higos Insurance Services Ltd who are authorised and regulated by the FCA.0 -
Most of the people and organisations you need to tell of change of address will be unknown to these concierge service providers unless you give them a list of whom to contact. At which point, you're as well doing it yourself.0
