Okay missus ... put the ketle on, make a cup of tea, sit down and enjoy it and then lets think again about this
... you're entitled to feel crappy and it sounds like you have lots of things to be worrying about and bringing you down ... so, in true dfw stylee we need to turn this round and come back fighting
So, how can we improve it?? I understand your dilemma about clearing the clutter ... is it possible to tidy it all into another room or the garage and challenge yourself to list 2 items a day on ebay?? I know it won't make a huge difference but its a start, it puts you back in control of the situation, and if you stick all the money in one pot it will soon add up and can go towards getting the fire situation sorted. Once thats sorted, the clutter will be gone and your home will be tidier and warmer. It won't be overnight but hey, nothing on here ever is, its always an uphill battle but it is achievable
Keep updating us on how you're feeling and if you don't feel like doing it then stick the kettle on again, make another cuppa and grab some choccy hobnobs (much better use of £5;) ), and sit back and while away the afternoon reading mse

Yep there's £50 squid from SS's offer to come and a grand total of 24.00 from quidco.
I have £20 of pigsback vouchers (taken a year to collect enough points) but I reckon even the cute pink pigsback pig has it in for me.:rolleyes:DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Hi Triker, I'm sorry to hear you feeling so low.
Re the carboot clutter - I say CHUCK IT. Hang on to anything worth good money but if it's carboot quality, freeing space in your house and cheering up yourself and your OH is better than the prospect of making just a few quid some time down the line.
Hang on in there Triker, that house WILL sell and this will all be just a bad memory.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Hey it sounds like a plan, however can't fit anything else in garage due to the presence of a, ahem, cooker (ebay
) that we bought a number of months ago but cannot afford to have fitted into the kitchen until the walls and the floor are done.
You see a theme emerging?
But I think we need a detox of stuff and I will ebay like mad tonight.
Ta for the support, it's all appreciated.

Glad you're feeling better, Triker. :T :TI am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
