Hi everyone, just feel the weight of it all starting to seriously drag me down really.
Update on my debt, well no discernable dent made into it all.
House is on the market but no offers, very slow market in South West.
Scraped together OH's birthday (wednesday just gone) pressie, hamper of goodies he likes, from change jar and used tesco vouchers for cake. I know I could have made one but I was at work....not organised.
Got a fiver in my purse to last until wednesday (payday).
Transferred £75.00 paypal money to bank account to cover until wednesday. Have DD's due. Am already over £3.50 on account so will probably get a charge.
Got fined £40.00 summons for apparently late council tax because I didn't pay on the 1st of the month, even though my account is up to date. Whilst I was on the phone arranging a payment plan (ha, for a house that is for sale and that I don't live in) the council tax person said 'oh there is £77.00 outstanding from the year previously because a discount you received has been revoked.
Have a leaking gas fire, have bought another one, ebay, but cannot afford for any gas fitters to remove old and fit new. Subsequently its freezing.
Matched the money for the ebay fire by selling stuff to pay for it.
OH didn't attend the Dr's appointment today citing too busy at work. The reason he needs to see the Dr are due to the fact that he is too busy at work!
Had the kitchen ceiling plastered as it was about to fall down, now have no kitchen, half a floor, wrecked in the floods earlier in the year.
Rang to check amount of credit card to be told £70.00 over that and need to get that back under limit asap. They didn't let me know as I should be checking my statements and apparently I went over by a small amount and the subsequent fines have brought it to £70.
Did a car boot last weekend and made £22.00 profit.
House full of junk and unsold car boot and ebay stuff, feels cluttered, cold and unhomely and OH very frustrated with all the crap as am I.
So that's it really, all a bunch of smelly bum stuff, 2 pay days till the dreaded C word and no sign of anything getting better.
Bit lost really, would take to my bed but muggins here has to do the tea.

aww Triker...hugs hugs for you its awful when nothing seems to go right but despite feeling crap there are positived in there! Just think what you would have been like before! You made dosh at the car boot & there is still more treasure to sell! The ceiling is done and you will be able to give it a fresh coat of paint and it will look new! Plus its less than a week till payday! Even better you can have the joy (ok being very positive here!) of reclaiming those charges! OH no doubt felt very loved by the thought you put into pressies...
I wish there was something I could do to help....Can you have a nice soak in the bath? ALways makes me feel better or even better share one with OH!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Sod's Law Triker.
Seriously, though, I AM sorry to see you feeling so down - your attitude is usually an inspiration to the rest of us.
Hope things improve. :A
But I hope you didn't use the fiver for what I THINK you may have? :eek:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I'm in such a dilemma because of all the [STRIKE]!!!!!![/STRIKE] potentially profitable ebay stuff.
I have the urge to purge, just go through the house and get rid, give to freecycle or charity shops. Just get rid of the clutter, but the other bit of me wants to keep slowly but surely ebaying like mad to survive and manage.

My workplace have recently stopped supplying free tampons in the ladies at work- and it's annoyed me beyond all reason- how dare they! I'd got used to that and budgeted for not having to buy any... All the girls here are fumingDon't suffer alone - if you are experiencing Domestic Abuse contact the National Domestic Abuse Helplines
