I have economy 7 heating and wouldn now like to focus on using my washing machine during the evening.
What time does 'evening' kick in - is it the same for all elec suppliers ? I'm with Southern Elec.

Yes, that should be right...kicking in from 12-7am.
However, meters are often off. So, it would be worth checking if it does click over at 12pm as they can be out by hours which may affect your decision.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
