Credit Score Check Problem...please help!

Hello
Me and my partner are applying for an Agreement in Principle this Saturday for the second time. The first time we signed up to Experien free trial to check our credit scores then cancelled.
The second time round obviously we couldn't do this so we have used Equifax instead. I registered fine and got my report. When my partner registered, he put the postcode on one of our former addresses incorrect by accident. When we realised he 'went back' on the browser but the page had dissapeared so he tried to register again. Now its saying they cant activate his account. We rang them and they said he needs to provide proof of ID (passport) and proof of address (bank statement). We uploaded these documents onto their portal straight away but it says it will take up to 24 hours to hear back.
I am really concerned this could have a negative impact on us getting a Decission in Principle. I'm sure his actual credit report is fine/unchaged as mine was but will the account he is trying to register with to access the report be an issue to lenders? Could there be a suspicion of fraud?
Im so worried about it so i'd appriciate any advice, thank you

I wouldn't have thought so. All they are doing is verifying his identity before they allow him access to the report he claims is his.
As an aside, you can read here how to check your credit reports for free...

Lenders check the credit history for your creditworthiness, as long as you have not missed any payments and are on electoral roll, your file is not affected. Equifax locking your partner out is for his own protection and getting the account activated should be straightforward. The lenders won't know about this as it won't be on his credit file, nor are they concerned about this.0

Forget your credit scores, they aren't seen by lenders. It's your credit history, affordability, and past dealings with the lender in question that are important.

There are 3 main credit reference agencies in the UK:
Expierian - view your report free via MSE Credit Club
Equifax - view your report free via ClearScore
Call Credit - view your report from via Noddle0 -
Thanks everyone for the replies
We managed to get it unlocked after numerous phone calls! As I expected, no change since the last time! Almost wondering why I bothered!0
