Can anyone help me?

Im really baffled as to how to solve my issue. In end of march/start of april i made a purchase on a website called best clip on veneers via paypal.

They would send me a kit to make a mould of my teeth and then i send it back and within three weeks i would get my finished product.

They sent the kit with recorded delivery, and i made sure to send the completed mould back with recorded delivery as well. They were very prompt with their email replies when i sent them emails unsure on how to use the kits.

Due to time delays i eventually sent mine back the beginning of may, i emailed her the same day to say i had sent it today and apologies for the delay and she replied back saying ‘fab thankyou’ .today is the end of may and i still have had no product. I emailed the same person i have been emailing a few days ago asking an update on my product (i dont mind if its delayed, i would just like an update) and no reply. So i opened up a paypal claim this morning. And the cheeky sods have replied back saying they sent me the product and provided the tracking number for the kit which was a month before i had sent my completed kit back. I updated the case providing my tracking number that i had sent on the 5/5/18. But im just anxious that it could be in the sellers favour.

Has anyone had any experience with this type of situation and have opened a case? It cost me alot of money! And if i lose is there any other way i could get the money back like complain to trading standards or somethinf? Any help is appreciated.

    Their web site states;
    Once we receive your impression we aim to ship you your veneers in 14 WORKING days for Premium and 21 WORKING days for Platinum- NOTE: Sometimes this could be a little longer depending on your individual requirement.

    So assuming it took a couple of days for it to reach them, they are only a couple of days late if you had the Platinum. You really need to get in touch with them. It sounds like they cheekily bated your PayPal case by uploading the tracking for your initial kit?

    The lady from the company i was emailing used to reply back within that same day. I gave the benefit of the doubt and left it a few days. The fact that im thinking this may be dodgy is that they gave paypal the tracking number for the kit. If you have any intention of being honest then why not update the case and say it will take an extra week, or ETA would be this date.

    I read a trustpilot review and someone a week ago posted they have been waiting over 7 months for their item. And the experience is sounding like my one.

    Im happy to wait for paypal to resolve it, but is this something i can take to trading standards or the ombudsman if by chance paypal rule in their favour?

    Personally I would phone paypal and explain that the tracking relates to the earlier delivery, not to the finished product.I wouldn't allow the seller to win any claim whilst the matter is un resolved.

    Did you return the mould with tracking?

    Unless its too late, open a NAD case and upload the tracking info?
