EA won’t sell if buyer uses Purple Bricks

Thing is , the estate agent really does not decide who the property sells to . That decision rests with the vendor . They are legally obliged to present all offers to the vendor .
As for Purple bricks not having any after sales in the view of this agent . I'm not really sure what after sales an EA can really do . Everything after an offer being accepted rests on the vendor , buyer , their solicitors , surveyors and the lender . The EA cannot really change the result of a survey , or speed up the lenders decision making process .I would be keen to ask this EA what they do after sale that is so valuable .0 -
I agree its up to the seller to decide upon which offer to accept - but theyre heavily influenced by the EA especially in an area in high demand, so they will have had several similar offers which they will push more. A note through the door is a good idea but is also likely to irritate the EA further - then they would really not favour me for any future houses! I really dont know what to do - Im hoping they will be more flexible on the price. Which is also why Im not naming and shaming at the moment!0

Maybe the EA agrees this with all their clients before or as they sign them up? For all we or the OP knows, it may be written in their terms of business as signed by the client...0

Ask the estate agent to put that in writing. Then forward it to whichever ombudsman scheme of which they're a member. And post it through every letter box carrying one of their for sale signs."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0
