Credit file mix up!!

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can please advise.

I’m in the process of a DRO and I recieved a copy of my draft and when I checked my Credit references it has included some of my twins loans,cards etc.

I am so distressed about this! I shouldn’t have access to my sister private finances and vis versa. That’s her business and it’s all included on my credit file!

I don’t want this effecting my DRO application.

When I spoke to my DRO advisor she said I need to keep the debts in with my draft because her creditors have come up on my file?

How can I get my credit file with only information on it? Can I have my twins informations removed?

This is effecting us both.


My adviser sent of my application today!

Is it worth phoning the credit reference and ask them to move the incorrect information?

Raise a dispute with each of the CRAs where the erroneous data appears.

What causes the mix up?

Is it because we are twins, same D.O.B, address, last name etc?

I noticed once when I sent an application for credit it came up as my sister and they declined it as said it’s fraud and I explained that we are twins etc they didn’t believe me. I was so annoyed !!!

Yes, if the data is incorrect.

The mix up is due to the wrong data being applied to your credit file.

Being twins makes that more likely.
