Will I get charged capital gains tax on existing shares that I’d like to move into a shares ISA?

Seems my last post stirred things up a little.
Apologies for some misleading info - seems I have more reading to do. A little knowledge can be a very dangerous thing.
Not wishing to Hijack this thread but one thing I can now make use of is the 'no need to declare if total sales are less than £46.8K and gains are less than £11.7K'. I have also uncovered a few shares that are currently making a small loss which will offset some gains and mean I can shift a little more into an ISA for my wife.0
