New car
I want to get a new car, my car is now nearly 14 years and cost a lot in car tax as the engine size is so big. I only really use my car to drive to the shops and the train station. Could I trade in my old car and get money off? I know it won’t be a lot of money off. I was thinking about getting it on car finance or is it better to pay it upfront?

Finance or pay for it?
Cost a lot in tax, i bet it doesnt cost anywhere near as much as your new car will depreciate.
Lose £200+ a month on depreciation or pay upto £300 a year on tax?
Where is the moneysaving in that?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

As per post #2
If the reasons to change is to save a few quid, then get rid of the car and walk to the shops and station, good exercise too.
Now then if you want a posh new car with all the mod cons on … then yes , get one within you affordable budget.
I've enjoyed purchasing both of my last two brand new cars, but wouldn't have enjoyed paying for it every month other than the running costs.0 -
Do most new cars have dashboard cameras?0

Given the football thread I will assume you mean dash camera that records the world outside the car then no modern cars do not include this.
You can buy a dash camera which can be installed in virtually any car so you could easily add one to your current 14 year old car.
Be careful with pcp or leasing if your current car is getting damaged whilst parked as you will be responsible for the cost of this damage when you hand the car back at the end of the lease.0 -
OP's a troll check previous threads.
Reminds me of threads started by a certain other person whose name I wont mention. Regulars will easily guess.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

I recall a TV advert for some trendy car that took photos as you were driving along, which you could then facebook alongside what you had for dinner, and when your house is empty. No idea what it was, perhaps a clio?I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
