Compare the Market ????
Compare the Market dor com has fairly went down hill as a comparison site. I was on there the other day and there’s no longer any provision to allow the entering of my average energy usage in kWh, instead only asking how much I spend in (£) either annually or monthly.
The problem being, they can’t determine how much energy I use from what I spend and so calculate the wrong energy consumption, despite me entering my supplier they deemed I was using 2,258kWh Electricity and 8,792kWh, when in fact its 2,500kWh(E) and 10,500kWh(G)
Thus, their reporting amounts on savings or anything else can only be rubbish. Is it like they want to tell you you're saving regardless of the accuracy just to get people to switch? No wonder many get confused over all this.

I have just accessed the website and you can enter annual consumption in kWhs/year. It sits under the ‘I have a bill tab’.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Well you can use kWh on the site today so maybe you missed it.0

Thans Hengas for your help. I can get the option now, when I select "I have bill" lol
YOu see, I answered the question too honestly, I don't need to have the bill in front of me to know what energy consumption I use lol .0 -

It’s an easy mistake to make. Sadly, a number of suppliers’ websites and PCWs make it more difficult than it needs to be to enter projected usage. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
