Travel Insurance - Extreme Sports

Hi all,
I need insurance to cover helicopter rescue and trekking up to 6000m. As it's counted as an extreme sport the cheapest premium I have found so far is around £100 for 3 weeks with the most basic cover for other things like nothing for cancellation and baggage loss. The medical expenses and repatriation amount seems decent enough
I have worldwide cover via my bank account which is pretty good, my question is can I buy the basic insurance to cover the activity and rescue and then if necessary use my bank account one to cover cancellation and baggage or does it all need to be under the same policy? Would the bank account pay out should I need to claim on something that isn't related to the activity?
Thanks

I would speak to the 'bank account' insurer directly and ask them. If they say yes, get it in writing. If they say no, at least you've heard it from the horse's mouth rather than guessing.0
